| The
5th Annual Run For The Animals was our biggest and best
yet! One hundred and forty (140) runners came out
on a beautiful summer morning and they gave it their all.

Overall Winner:
The overall winner was Franklin
Diaz
of Farmingdale at 17:07 minutes.
The first woman finisher, Una
Broderick
of Wantagh was close behind at 20:05. |

Many participants
have been coming back year after year despite, or because
of, the challenging course. Many have improved their time.
This year’s Race Coordinator was Sara Rubinson.
Kim Serino was the MVP as she pulled together all the
permits, town, school, EMS and police officials. Thank
you ladies for a fabulous job! Special thanks to the Moran
Family for their great support as well.
Susan Marino, Founder/Director of Angle's Gate could not
make it to the Run this year as she is preparing our new
location in Delhi NY. Angel’s Gate has purchased
100 acres of meadows and woods for our animals. New structures
are being built to house our now three hundred animals.
