Not surprisingly, Angel's Gate receives referrals
from all over the United States , however we were
surprised and very gratified by the interest in
Angel's Gate from other countries.
France:
Five years ago "France TV 1"
sent a crew here to video our work. When it was
broadcast in France we had several inquires including
one from a 17 year old named Marina from the Cote
Azur. She asked if she could come to Angel's Gate
and volunteer for the summer. We accepted and
not only did she come that summer but has returned
3 more times and has become our "adoptive
daughter." The next time the show was broadcast
Irene and her son Julien from Rene in Brittany
volunteered and they each have returned three
times. You can read about Angle's Gate in French
and in Spanish,
thanks to Marina who is a language major.
Canada:
We have several supporters from Canada and one
has come to volunteer.
Japan:
Amazing Animals a popular show in Japan sent a
TV crew here two years ago. It brought a big response
from their viewers and several of them became
monthly donors.
Yochie, a member of their crew translated a piece
into Japanese for us. click

Also, Angel's Gate has adopted animals from Russia,
Greece, Albania, and Mexico! Sometimes we get
referrals from Americans living abroad and sometimes
we hear from Americans here who work with rescue
groups in other countries.
Nationality is not considered as a criteria for
admission to Angel's Gate, nor the animal's location
in the US. Our decision to adopt animals is made
solely on the bases of their health, physical
challenges, age, temperament and and our ability
to provide proper care.
