KATRINA ANIMALS
Below are the dogs rescued by Susan and her colleagues at the Mutt Shack M.A.S.H. Unit in New Orleans in September of 2005. They are identified by a letter of the alphabet. In some cases we know the actual names. If you recognize your dog and wish to claim her/him call us at the number below. Some of the dogs have been claimed by their human guardians. Some have been identified but can not be re-united because of the terrible conditions with which the families are still struggling.
Only one dog ( O ) remains unclaimed and un-fostered. We call him Bingo. He is a totally non-problematic Sheppard mix, very timid as though he has been through a lot of bad times (as surely he was).
